LIMPOPO police have mobilised resources to find one of their own – a sergeant – who allegedly shot and killed his wife and domestic worker at Masisi on Tuesday.
Police were alerted about the shooting at a homestead, and upon their arrival found two women with gunshots wound. They were certified dead on the scene.
Provincial police commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, said: “A multi-disciplinary team has been assigned and maximum resources mobilised to ensure that investigations are expedited to ultimately bring the suspect to book in order to face the full might of the law.
“The police will do everything they can to find the suspect, dead or alive.”
Two counts of murder have been opened.
The motive for the crime is still unknown, but domestic violence has not been ruled out.
