Limpopo teacher facing charges of sexually molesting 7-year old girl to apply for bail on Friday

A Limpopo teacher facing charges of sexually molesting a 7-year old girl was remanded in custody until Friday for a formal bail application in the Makhado magistrate court.

The 44-year old teacher was arrested after he allegedly undressed and ordered a girl to touch his private parts at Rabali Zone 1 in Vhembe region, Limpopo.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, said the grandmother was notified by the cousin that her grandchildren aged 7 and 3 years were found in the house with the teacher.

“The teacher was undressed and ordered a 7-year old to touch his private parts. After hearing the news, the grandmother reported the incident to the police, who opened a sexual assault case,” Ledwaba said.
